Responsibilities:-
- Configuration and administration of PI
- Collaborate with functional leads on design of functional
specifications - challenge specs if better solution exists.
- Develop detail technical specifications based upon functional specs.
- Provide expertise with integration technologies and enforce
interface standards.
- Make recommendations to SAP development teams to achieve best
practices and high performance.
- Review and approve technical specifications to ensure adherence to
PI standards.
- Provide initial estimates of effort for design and development.
Validate detailed estimates from suppliers.
- Perform PI development as needed to validate designs and maintain
skills.
- Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated PI issues.
- Minimum 7 years IT experience
- Minimum 3 years of ABAP development experience
- Minimum 3 years of Java development experience
- Minimum 1 year of development experience with PI 7.0 or higher
Skills & Qualifications:-
- Experience with configuration aspects of PI (includes BASIS)
- Strong technical skills in all areas of PI including: PI Workbench,
PI Integration Builder, PI Enterprise Service Builder, PI System
Landscape Directory and NetWeaver Administrator
- Full understanding of PI mapping techniques, and PI Adaptor
configuration including JMS, JDBC, webServices, SOAP, iDoc, and RFC
proxy
- In depth knowledge of XML, XSLT, WebServices and SAML standards
- In depth knowledge of PI infrastructure architecture
- Experience with deploying PI across an enterprise
- Full understanding of BASIS support and procedures
- Experience with developing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP
applications
- Experience with an SAP implementation project
- Experience working with co-source/offshore vendors on development
projects
- Experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, etc.)
subject to compliance controls
- Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills
