The Job Description is as follows:

• Job monitoring , performance monitoring, Workload Management

• Backup and restore/copy activities

• Handle load related issues like lock release, space issues, access issues

• Handle database connectivity, performance and other reporting issues

• User administration and security settings

• Query Tuning and performance optimization of queries

• Experience in running database maintenance utilities

• Maintain DBQL, Resusage data and Capacity Planning

• Coordinates system maintenance with end users and Vendor

• Handles installation of Teradata Client on Windows, UNIX and Linux servers

• Handles Physical Database Implementation

• Good at database concepts and modeling

• Thorough Knowledge of TASM and VIEWPOINT

• Experience in working on TD13

Perform all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle, including problem investigation, business analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and support. The ideal candidate would also be involved in supporting our Client Service, Sales, and Marketing organizations and develop software to support Client reporting, internal and external websites, and Marketing tools. The candidate may also be involved in supporting or Equity, Fixed Income, and Funds back office processing streams.

The candidate should have strong technical skills with a focus on Microsoft Technologies. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, and hold a BS in Computer Science or similar curriculum. Financial services experience is desired but not required.

This role will initially be a consultant position with a possible opportunity to become a full time employee within 6 months to a year.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop software for financial applications using Microsoft Technologies, ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET, and SQL Server.Candidate will be involved in longer term project implementation, in addition to smaller project tasks.The candidate will need to be able to work independently and within a small team.Candidate is expected to build a strong rapport with IT colleagues, business users, and operations personnel.Candidate must be flexible and have strong communication skills to facilitate prompt problem resolution.

TECHNICAL KNOWLDEGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

BS Degree in Computer Science or similar curriculum.Between 3-9 years of application development experience.Strong Microsoft SQL experience required (MS SQL2008/2005). At least 3 years of relational database experience. At least 2 years working with Microsoft Development tools, including C#, VB.NET, and/or ASP.NET.Experience developing and supporting Client/Server technology.Experience supporting job processing streams and scheduling environment is a plus.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.Experience with SS&C Technologies Client Reporting software Pages (http://www.ssctech.com/productservices/client-reporting.asp) while not required, would be a huge plus.Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint for workflow application development, while not required, is a plus.

BUSINESS KNOWLDEGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Experience developing financial applications and understanding financial concepts is desired but not required. Investment Management background is a strong plus.Experience with supporting either Financial back office organizations or Client Service, Sales and Marketing organizations and software would be a strong plus.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This role provides support to key SAP
integration and to the Change Request Management system. Responsible
for interpreting internal/external business issues and work
priorities. Work with customers to anticipate and interpret customer
needs and business challenges.

Description of Work: EXPERT in SAP Performance Monitoring, Tuning,
Troubleshooting & Capacity Planning: tuning and troubleshooting to
ensure optimum system performance and minimal system downtime of the
SAP system landscape.

Scope includes, but is not limited to, the monitoring of CPU
utilization, Swap space, memory utilization, disk space utilization,
system logs, database growth, memory buffers, transaction logs, SAP
buffers, update terminations, lock entries, background jobs, system
availability, ABAP dumps, response times, etc.

Documentation: Create technical operations procedures guides that
effectively document all areas of the SAP technical landscape to
ensure consistent maintenance and support.

Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of SAP R/3 Basis administration experience;
including Solution Manager toolset and methods
- Demonstrated skills in utilizing project management techniques.
- Strong skills in systems analysis, design, development, testing and
documentation
- Strong problem solving skills with well organized and structured work habits
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
