Lead Data Warehouse Tester

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 12 Months

 

Hands-on experience in each of the following areas is required for this position:

·        Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with different project teams

·        Leading a small offshore team for day to day assignments and deliverables

·        Flexibility working with offshore teams and ability to handle potential challenges - time differences and remote communication

·        Strong database knowledge and experience writing complex SQL queries

·        Minimum of 4 years experience in ETL.  

·        Knowledge of DataStage, GoldenGate, and Informatica

·        Experience with test case design/ execution, test data creation and defect management processes

·        Test Plan Creation

·        Review project requirement and design documents for testability

·        Develop test scenarios from applicable project documentation (use cases, requirements, technical design)

·        Minimum of 1 year experience with HP Quality Center, preferably version 11

·        QA status reporting

·        Minimum of 3 years Data Warehouse testing experience

·        Working with minimum application level security testing such as Role Based Access Control, SSO, etc.

·        Testing web services - preferably HP Service Test or SOAPUI

Nice to have:

·        Leading Performance testing developed and executed by offshore team

·        Writing Unix/Pearl scripts

·        Automation script development using QTP
