Position: Sr. Java Flex Developer
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Duration: 6+ Months
Position Type: Contract

Key to position: Must have Java and Flex experience- Banking or financial background and very good communication skills

Job Summary:
The Software Engineer – Java Developer will be responsible for the maintenance and development of pricing applications within client environment. He/She will be working closely with the Development Manager, Business analysts, and other developers to support, modify, and build pricing applications used by our customer.

Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Java and 3 Years of Flex.
- Strong background in object oriented development and design
- Experience with relational database design specifically Sybase and Oracle
- Experience working well under short time constraints and without close supervision
- Experience with the following technologies is a must: Java J2EE, JPA, FLEX Jasper
- Experience using a configuration management tool ( PVCS)
- Experience working with an IDE such as Eclipse
- Experience with the configuration, operation, maintenance, administration, and performance tuning of web application infrastructures
