The Matrix Framework is a newly created team that support and promote reusable software assets across multiple LOB. The main asset is an innovative framework (matrix) aiming at the creation of powerful workstation solutions. Other assets include applications that have been already integrated into the Matrix framework and that can be reuse across multiple projects. Already two of the most critical programs in the Investment Bank are using this framework and many others have express interest.
This role provides the opportunity for talented technologist to to participate into the development and support of software asset that may be use accross Banking.
Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation.
3+ years experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.
3+ years experience with Java.
2+ years experience with a J2EE/EJB Application Server (preferably WebLogic).
2+ years experience working in both Unix and Windows environments.
2+ years experience with Adobe Flex, BLAZE DS and LCDS is required
Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.
Test-oriented attitude (strong desire to perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing).
