CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS

CHANTILLY, VA

(100% manual now and moving to QTP

 .net, Web Services, QTP

Writing test cases, regression testing etc.

Application use single sign-on so somebody who knows that concept )

 

POSITION SUMMARY – Quality Assurance Tester

 

Responsible for client’s software production deployment quality. This position interfaces with the Business Analysts, Developers, and Production Support Teams.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

Participates as an integral member of the Quality Assurance team to identify gaps in the Design documentation necessary to deliver a complete feature

·  Participates in Design Review sessions conducted by the Business Analyst Team to understand the proposed changes and analyze it’s impact to the overall system functionality

·  Participates in the QA process to review Test Cases and provide feedback to ensure all aspects of the feature are tested

Creates Test Cases utilizing the tools identified for the project

Maintains the results of the Test Case Execution

·  Reports issues to the Development Team found during testing of features utilizing the tools identified for the project

Retest issues resolved by the Development Team in a timely manner to reduce Project Risk

Test Production issues and provide sign-off for release to Production

Review the Release Notes and provide feedback in a timely manner

Maintain confidentiality of Patient information.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Participate in continuing educational activities, as appropriate.
