Description:

An IT Analyst is needed to configure SharePoint sites. This role is focused on content management.

This work will consist of building the following:

• 12 Departmental Sites – Including basic site configuration, modules, permissions.
• 2 -5 Team Sites – In support of the product development efforts.
• 3-5 Cross Company collaboration Sites – Configure cross-functional sites that can be used for various work streams in support of product filing and launch.
• 1-3 External SharePoint Sites – Build a cross-functional SharePoint site that will be used for building the BLA submission documentation.
• Configure Intranet Site(s) with links to department, team, cross company sites and external sites as needed. Build and maintain an interactive site map (this may be outsourced to global services). Manage the development of an interactive site map. Partner with departmental teams to build capabilities for the Intranet.
• Enable the creation of new sites and components with sites, groups, best practice creation.
• Define requirements for custom development as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to elicit user and technical requirements through methods such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
• Analyze requirements, resolve requirements conflicts, and create functional and technical requirement specifications.

 

Required Skills:

• Experience configuring SharePoint workflows, site collections, and web parts.
• Business analysis experience Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process preferred Maintenance of SharePoint sites, including adding and configuring web parts and user rights management.
• Experience implementing business process solutions using SharePoint 2007.
