Project Manager:
The Lead Project Manager, under minimal supervision, will work with the Business end users, Project and Technology management and their staff and Data Strategy and Operations group to identify, define, and clarify business and user requirements and processes, in support of the QCCR program globally. The ideal candidate will have expertise in reporting systems, such as the systems used to support Ratings.
The Lead Project Manager will be responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, control and closure of PMO projects in support of QCCR.
* Proven project management skills are required;
* PMP certification is required and an MBA is desirable.
The Lead Project Manager works with minimal oversight and is able to define and create project artifacts and partner with project team members to deliver projects on-scope, on-schedule and on-budget, utilizing appropriate change control and risk mitigation techniques to deliver business outcomes as defined jointly by the Business Champion, Business Sponsor and IT Delivery Manager. He or she will identify and mitigate risks and issues, create an accurate Work Breakdown Structure, develop and maintain the Master Project Plan, and drive changes formally through the PLC change control process. He or she will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate, timely and detailed Status Reports and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting materials in support of Steering Committee meetings, weekly status meetings, Tech Ops, and business team presentations.
This role will also be responsible for owning project and program financials in partnership with QCCR and Segment Finance, supporting Business Value Realization benefits tracking, explaining variances, and developing forecasts. Financial acumen is essential to this position.
Required:
* Strong candidates with leadership presence.
* Excellent communication skills, must be both verbal AND written.
* Must have proven large project and end to end Project Management experience.
* Should have proven project financial experience.
* PMP certification is REQUIRED and an MBA is desirable.
* PMI certification.
* Excellent organizational skills a must.
* Regulatory experience preferred.
* Business process definition experience (BPM).
