Job Description:
LOCATION: NYC
RATE: open
Duration: 6+ MONTHS
Manager Conversation:
Siteminder for user authentication is a plus
Ajax, Json and WCF is a plus- they do not use WPF
will focus mostly on web development- server side development is
a plus- including multi-threaded development a plus
Summary: -
The Web Application Developer will be responsible for supporting
the existing applications as well as developing new
technologies.
-A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied,
fast paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Develop new Web applications
-Maintain and enhance existing Web applications and all internal
systems
-Perform complete testing of Web applications -Participate in
all user acceptance testing
-Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to
learn. The Ideal candidate will also possess the following
skills:
-Ability to work independently and efficiently. -Ability to meet
deadlines.
-Ability to promptly answer support related email, phone calls
and other electronic communications.
-Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational
skills.
Required Skill Set
-C#
-ASP.NET -SQL Server Database
-Informix Database is a plus
-Strong Web GUI design skills
-Strong OOP skills -XML -XSL -Web Services
-Strong analytical skills -Strong communication skills
-Financial knowledge is a big plus -Good team player.
