Title: IT Project Manager – Application Interface Development for Conversion Projects

Location: Wilmington, DE (Locals preferred in-person interview)

Duration: 9+ Months

Rate: $DOE

 

Description: The position will work directly with management to lead projects through the full software

development lifecycle. They will apply their technical expertise and logical skills to document,

coordinate, collaborate and facilitate delivery of high-quality software products.

 

•Coordinate the full software development lifecycle and manages the completion of project

deliverables for multiple projects. Ability to perform requirements analyses and create technical

specifications, project schedules and work plans, and status reports. Excellent communication

skills to communicate important decisions to key stakeholders and keep them informed of progress

throughout the entire software development life cycle. Strong time management skills and ability to

set priorities and objectives with the project team and coordinate the team's efforts.

•Ability to work with technical staff to identify and document issues, risks, assumptions and

mitigation plans. Strong multi-tasking capabilities. Strong skills in utilizing various tools (Word,

Excel, MS Project, etc.) to automate tasks related to project management tracking.

•Manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently. Establish project deliverables; project

plans, forecasts and scheduling. Collaborate with Other project managers to facilitate software

development and software testing. Work closely with business and technology groups to ensure

user testing meets business requirements.

Skills

·         Extensive Project Management experience in the full software development lifecycle in the

financial services arena.

·         Demonstrated ability and experience partnering with software Architects, Systems Analysts and

Developers on complex projects.

·         Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to work independently.

·         Bachelor’s degree.

·         Strong collaboration & facilitation skills required.

·         PMP certification recommended

·         Strong organizational skills required

·         Strong communication Skills.
